Sažetak
Today we are actors in the communication challenge area. There are a lot of changes present in the communication network architecture view and supportive elements. The main change is known like shift from "voice-centric" to "data-centric" model of communication. The another big change comes from paradigm that past concept on network was based on dumb terminals connected to the network. Users require reliable and cheap systems that is third driving element for changes. Such system must support today requirements and have small investment on the requirements for tomorrow. It is very important that network equipment suppliers build up proper software architecture in the network environment to fulfil today and future technology needs.
