Sažetak
Macrozoobenthos of drainage ditches at Čakovec and Dubrava reservoirs were investigated during 1999. Over the investigated period 44 macroinvertebrate taxa were recorded. Ditches contain seeping water from a power plant reservoirs, and the only restricted factor for greater macroinvertebrate diversity is relatively low amount of oxygen. Chironomids have higher species richness (13 species, including 8 Orthocladiinae). Mean density was highest at site Č-1 (7157 ind.m-2), and lowest at D-1 (2449 ind.m-2). Amphipods dominated in all stations, their biomass share ranged from 37.3 % of total macrobenthos biomass at site D-1 to 93.4% at site Č-1. Comparing chemical characteristics of water, there were only minor variations among sites, but multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis clearly separates Č-1 from another stations, due to differences of sediment covered by periphyton.
