Sažetak
The process of deposition of silver nanoparticles on cellulose fabric followed by coating with γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS), as well as the properties of obtained nanocomposites has been investigated. Silver nanoparticles were prepared through the reduction of silver nitrate with sodium borohydrate. The cellulose fabric samples treated with colloidal silver were additionally treated with MPS. The concentration of Ag in the fabric samples was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS), the thermal behavior of samples was characterized by Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) and the character of obtained polysiloxane coating was examined using Fourier transform infrared spectrometry. It has been determined that process yield satisfactory concentrations and uniform distribution of silver nanoparticles throughout the fabric surface and MPS provided surface modification and alteration of thermal properties.
