Sažetak
The presentation is focused on four important aspects which reflect the re-symbolization of Croatia during the ´90. They are: a) revitalization of religion and its powerful presence in public life b) re-traditionalization of public life shown in many restored and invented rituals c) replacement of statues, changes of street names and institutions through which reinterpretation of historical experience appears d) efforts to achive new symbolic positioning of Croatia within broader cultural and geopolitical frames
