Sažetak
The aim of this research was to evaluate hematology and serum biochemistry data in cows suffered from abomasum displacement. Research had started in autumn 1997 and ended in summer 2006, it took place im Međimurje region, Croatia. Surgery was performed in 87 (95, 6%) cows suffered from left displacement of abomasus (LDA, and 4 (4, 4%) cows with right displacement of abomasum (RDA). Out of 91 cows suffered from abomasum displacement 87 were Holstein-Friesian breed and 4 cows were Simental breed. In 3 cows (3, 3%) ketones in urine were not detected, in 88 cows (96, 7%) ketones in urine were present. Hematology parameters were within referral ranges except PCV. Liver enzimes (ALT, AST, GGT) and Tbil were elevated. Serum glucose level was decreased.
