Sažetak
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia has initiated the process of the new healthcare system architecture, in which the Integral Healthcare Information System takes up a significant part. The aim of the project was to propose a set of ICS for the Healthcare sector of the Republic of Serbia. The work on this project comprises standards of the four standardization bodies: CEN-TC251, ISO-TC215, HL7 and W3C. Based on criteria for the selection of the basic set, a minimal and extended basic set of the recommended standards has been formed. General recommendations for activities which are to lead to the adoption and implementation of the proposed set of ICS can be divided into three groups.
