Sažetak
Project The Bridge stems from a longer Suncokret's experience in psychosocial work with children with developmental disabilities/special needs in various projects. The purpose of the project is to reduce isolation and exclusion of children and young people with developmental disorders from the social and cultural community life and to sensitise other children, youth and university students to issues related to children with developmental disorders. The project starts with preparation workshops about developmental disorders for students from one elementary school, from the High School of Applied Arts and Design Pula and students from the University of J. Dobrila from Pula. Then they join children and youth with developmental disorders in their School for Education on social-creative workshops. In the final phase art works produced on the workshops are exhibited in a public space. The project is implemented twice a year in duration of four months and it includes 40-60 participants.
