Sažetak
Considering the increasing the presence of information and communication technologies as well as the development of various mobility management strategies in urban environments, new possibilities of providing information to traffic participants have been emerging, using the systems based on supported reality. One of such is the Augmented Reality (AR) system which is applicable in carpooling systems i.e. travel pairing systems and reservations with the aim of automating the processes and the possibility of real-time pairing. The implementation of AR system and the combination of the virtual and real world, would provide information about the condition in traffic, the current position and the number of users (registered drivers and passengers), to the nearest carpooling location/station in the urban environment. In general it would also increase the efficiency and the possibility of navigation in a visually attractive way by means of mobile terminal devices.
