Sažetak
The Workshop of the European Network of Excellence Complex Metallic Alloys ''Frontiers in Complex Metallic Alloys'' was held from October 1–4, 2008, at the Institute of Physics, Zagreb, Croatia, under the auspices of and sponsored by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. This meeting was a highly significant event of the European research community in the field of complex metallic alloys, especially physical properties. This issue of Croatica Chemica Acta, the journal of the Croatian Chemical Society, includes contributions presented at this scientific meeting. The special session of the Meeting has been devoted to Professor Leontić. Therefore the contributions presented here are offered as a token of appreciation to Professor Leontić's achievements in the advancement of research and education in physics, in Croatia and abroad.
