Sažetak
The article proposes a framework for context-aware services and describes their implementation in the next generation networks. A short overview of context-aware service features and frameworks has been given along with the classification of the context information. User profile contains the context-sensitive information and has been used for providing information for the services. Functional components of context-aware services, including context retrieval, storage, processing and usage, have been identified and used in local profile storage and network profile storage context-aware service models. The context-aware service model has been illustrated on the example of shopping assistant service, with proposed implementation in line with the 3GPP IMS specification.
