Sažetak
Results from a set of seasonal integrations with the T42 version of the ECMWF NWP model over the northern summers of 1987 and 1988 made with specified SSTs are presented. The model was able to simulate observed interannual variation on global scale. The role of SST anomalies was shown to be very important. The success of integrations critically depends on parameterisation of surface moisture flux in regions of small wind speed.
