Sažetak
The paper represents the experince in the field of choice of the protection of materials from corrosion with silicone based single layered coatings, without the foundation and in approximate film thickness from 30 - 35 μm, and also, the selected results of characteristic testing of silicone based one-layered coatings. The behavior towards the corrosion of four different samples of silicone based single layered coating (A, B, C, D), which was spread on metal plates during the time period of 96 hours in salty chamber with 5% suspension of NaCl, was observed. The given results had been compared between themselves and afterwards presented in the tables. The reffered testings were conducted in Chromos Svjetlost d. o. o. in accordance with the ISO standards.
