Sažetak
The aim of the study was to compare the level of anxiety, as measured by the punished drinking procedure, and the plasma corticosterone (CS) levels in control and diazepam treated male and female rats. The results demonstrated that female control and diazepam treated rats are more anxiogenic and have higher plasma CS levels than identically treated males. However, the levels of CS in plasma do not reflect the level of anxiety.
