Sažetak
The analysis of trophic structure of macrobenthic invertebrates in Kupa River is the contribution to knowledge of ecology of karst running water in the North-west area of Balkans Peninsula. Prior classical faunistic investigations by Matoničkin & Pavletić (1962, 1965) and this analysis can be taken as the elements of the research programme, whose purposes are the defining and reconstruction of the food chains in different types of habitats in karst running waters.
