Sažetak
Our observations indicate that the aurea variety, in spite of a great deficiency of chlorophylls, activate mechanisms which enable chloroplasts to perform efficient photosynthesis and, to a certain extent, adapt to various condition in the light environment. In addition, an ability of the leaves to accomodate to strong illumination increase after over-wintering in both, the aurea variety and the wild type.
