Sažetak
The issue of executive compensation attracts attention worldwide, where Croatia is no exception. Unlike in many other countries, Croatian firms do not need to disclose any information on executive compensation. This is the reason for a very limited knowledge on executive compensation practices used in Croatian firms. A comprehensive research is necessary to assess the current situation and in order to suggest possible improvements. This paper describes available findings on executive compensation among Croatian firms based on the researches performed in 2005 and 2008.
