Sažetak
Samples of total suspended particulates (TSP) were collected in the city center of Rijeka and at the remote site of Istrian peninsula during the period Oct-1991-Sept.1992.Besides, during Sept.-Oct.1992. samples of TSP were collected in the vicinity of shipyard, situated in the eastern suburb of the city. The obtained mean concentrations of TSP and metals (Pb and Cd) are within air quality standards at all sites. The highest metal concentrations were registered in the vicinity of shipyard, and the concentrations found were by 50% to several times higher than in the city center.
