Sažetak
Colonic postinflammatory polyps in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients reflect healing of ulcers and are often multiple. Pseudopolyps have no malignant potential but polypoid and pseudopolypoid manifestations of inflammatory bowel disease can be a source of great confusion. Differentiation of adenocarcinoma and dysplasia from inflammatory or postinflammatory polyps is sometimes very difficult, so endoscopy and patohistological analysis are necessary for making a final diagnosis.
