Sažetak
A novel asymmetric dimeric quaternary ammonium salts (gemini surfactants)have been synthesized. The composition, structure, morphology and thermal behavior of new compounds are studied. A theoretical model for the interfacial behavior of dimeric surfactants and its dependence on the spacer length was used to elucidate the morphologies of aggregates formed in the aqueous solution.
