Sažetak
To date, a range of different packaging materials and packaging technologies have been developed to facilate quality improvement and preservation of packaged foods. Most of the materials are new with improving functions through lamination, coating or incorporating active materials. Plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyamide (PA), poly(ethylene terephthalate), PET, etc. in form of monofilms or laminates, in order to be used as food packaging materials, must fulfil number of requirements.
