Sažetak
In presented article is pointed out the possibility of energy saving in selected industrial drying process. After a detailed analyzes of the original drying process configuration the possibilities for a reduction of energy consumption is documented. Because about 30% of the total dryer heat load can be recovered the conventional process is compared with the same using recuperation and recirculation. That two options are used on large scale dryers especially in high energy consuming industries resulting with increasing drying efficiency. Reclaiming heat from the exhaust results with gaseous fuel saving of 28% in recuperative drying process.
