Sažetak
Process modeling methods have found application in a broad field of scientific and industrial problems. In graphic arts, they are a part of a field called color management. Various methods are used to calibrate and characterize input and output devices. Since accurate color reproduction is the aim of color reproduction processes, various models have been developed in attempt to model the process more accurately. The model accuracy depends on the response characteristics of a given device. This paper investigates the suitability of most common methods for particular data sets and the criterions for choosing a particular method.
