Sažetak
In the paper the authors most stridently questioned the traditional Marxian aproach to religion. In their paper they forthrightly took issue with the doctrinaire Marxian view of religion. Traditional Marxist theory, according to the authors, lacks a sufficiently differentiated view of religion. They urged Marxists to develop a more nuanced understanding of the anthropo-psychic aspects of religion. The authors do not hold necessarily to a negative or positive valuation of religion and do not deny the Marxist theory of alienation but view religion as adressing the ultimate boundary questions of life, meaning and transcendence. In that sense it is possible to speak about the good aspect of religion the way the traditional Marxism was not willing to do and even to allow for the notion of God.
