Aim: To discover the prevalence of asymptomatic nephrolithiasis in the manageriai population and to compare it with the prevalence in the general population.
\par Methods: Managers perform regular preventive systematic checkups which include ultrasonographic ex
amination of upper urinary tract. Data from 703 examined managers (411 men and 292 women) was compared with the data recieved from the exams of 705 people from the control group (413 men and 292 women), which are not managers.
\par Resuits: Ultrasonographic exa
minations of 703 managers showed asymptomatic nephrolithiasis in 39 cases (5.55%), of those 29 were in men (7,05%) and 10 were in women (3,42%). In general population prevalence in 705 examinees was 3,92% (5,21% for men and 2,12% for women).
