Sažetak
Good technical systems diagnosis is based on the knowledge of the behaviour of its functional parts and that of the system as a whole in varied conditions and circumstances. The best sources of such knowledge are experts in that particular field. The basic principles and techniques used for expert knowledge elicitation with a special account of interview techniques shown to be effective enough in the knowledge basis construction for the needs of technical systems diagnosis, namely expert system design and implementation for diagnostics, will be shortly described in this paper. Formal parameters for the comparison of different knowledge elicitation techniques are given.
