Sažetak
Wellness facilities as a modern form of hotel offer becomes more and more recognized as a motive for travelling and a choice for a specific hotel to fulfil their needs. Wellness facilities become a stimulus for increased business activities and a new business impulse in increasing the management efficacy of hotel management. Wellness facilities significantly influence the success of small hotels and increase the efficacy and efficiency of hotel management. New facilities are especially significant for the increase and development of competitive advantages of hotel business. Model of the research are Croatian hotels and benchmarking process against the European hotels ; hotels which offer wellness and which, by its quality, please the tourists’ demand for wellness. This paper will stress the importance of wellness facilities in using the hotel capacities better and revenue management. Results of the research are expected to show that wellness influences the overall hotel efficiency and the increase of guests’ satisfaction which have, in the first place, brought the guest to a chosen hotel or tourist destination.
