Sažetak
The results of a survey conducted in two generations of students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, who completed the course in Techical English, are presented. The first group of students belonged to the last generation in which student performance in the course was evaluated according to the old curriculum, whereas the second group of students belonged to the first generation of students whose knowledge was assesed according to the new curriculum designed in line with the Bologna Declaration. The aim of the survey was to examine opinions of students on the type of assessment, continual learning, motivation, progress and diligence in studying technical English.
