Sažetak
The aim of this presentation is demonstration of project called 'Influence of peer pressure in adolescence' and it's preliminary results. The aim of presented project is to examine the susceptibility to peer pressure in adolescence, it’ s relationships with some of the adolescent’ s characteristics (self-esteem, anxiety and depression symptoms), friendship quality and parental behaviour. The number of respondents would include 1.000 adolescents from four Croatian cities where the population exceeds the number of 100.000. The sample of the adolescents would include the seventh- and eighth-grade elementary school students, as well as the first-, second- and third-graders at secondary school. In first year of the project we have constructed Susceptibility to peer pressure scale (SPPS). Constructed version of the SPPS has 21 items on five factors (Misconduct, Adjustment of appearance, Relations with parents, School activities and Relations with peers). Scale shows good factor structure and internal consistency.
