Sažetak
During school year 2009/2010 a state matura will be held for the first time in Croatia that will be also used as an entrance exam for Croatian universities ; therefore, this school year, the state matura will be simulated on the population of third grade students with the purpose of preparing them for this new challenge. National Center for External Evaluation of Education (NCEE) was founded with the aim of conducting national high school examinations throughout Croatia and will perform the entire process from registration to statistical analysis. This paper presents an overview of this process and highlights some of the major student and faculty preferences regarding the entire process.
