Sažetak
Cystic fibrosis is prevalent autosomal recessive, lethal disorders in Caucasian population. Research and clinical care have been constantly increasing the life span of CF patients notably in so-called developed countries. Much should be done in other parts of the world. The aim of this conference is to stimulate, encourage and help to develop programs for professionals working in the field of CF in non EU and EU countries.CF experts from EU and non EU have have participatet at he congtress. It is our hope that this meeting withh participaants from16 countries will permit better cohesion among small group of already known CF specialists and majority of other participants who in their every day practice with patients often do not know this people and their work.
