Sažetak
With increasing public and global awareness about environmental problems and risks the concept of sustainability has been proposed and discussed both within academic debates and business domain. An idea of sustainability has become a part of business ethic and an important dimension of firms´ image. This thesis is based on a content analysis of web sites of several international and Croatian firms. The paper presents the concept of new business ethic which transcendes the gap between theory and practice. The new ethic is ecocentric, sustainable and responsible for life. Also, some particularities of eco-ethical economy and business will be drawn.
