Sažetak
Nonlinearity of the electrode-tissue interface at high current density stimulation is well known from the literature. In our research of optimization of stimulation parameters for transcranial electrical stimulation in patients under general anesthesia, we had to investigate the phenomenon at the electrodes during high current pulse train stimulation. The pulse voltage to current ratio of cup electrodes is average current as well as pulse parameters dependent. The properties of corkscrew electrodes show average current dependence, but are less sensitive to pulse parameter changes.
