Sažetak
By proposed paper, the authors will analyse development and functional problems that emerge within the accelerated introduction of IT communication processes in regional and local government over a long – term period. Accordingly, with the application of IT technologies adequate legal and democratic solutions must be assured, extremes avoided and the functioning under any given condition and circumstances guaranteed. Within this, all data and information linked both with the archive (historical data), but also the present and future, must be preserved. Modern solutions should enable an open route of access to the European Union. The main focus of this paper will be on analizing the existing status of government and research of all advantages and disadvantages , as well as the effects of the current government model in the units of regional government towards the central public administration bodies and vice versa. It presents the part of undergoing project under the support of Ministry of science, education and sport of Repbulic of Coratia.
