Sažetak
This paper deals with the application of non-destructive methods for a testing of cement-based materials at early age. A continuous monitoring of the setting and hardening process of cement paste by the ultrasonic technique and acoustic emission was performed up to the age of 48 hours after mixing. By evaluation of the propagation characteristics of elastic waves a comprehensive picture of the stiffening process is obtained. A comparison with standard procedures is made.
