Sažetak
The field experiment of liming (dolomite: 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 t ha-1) was conducted in spring of 2005 (four replicates, basic plot 59.5 m2) on Gradiska soil. The field experiment with increased rates of phosphorus fertilization (P2O5): 80, 580, 1080 and 1580 kg ha-1) was conducted in spring of 2004 on Brekinja (municipality Kozarska Dubica) soil. Low yield on the control (3-years mean during 2005-2007: 4.19 t ha-1) is indicator of low soil fertility and liming considerably increased maize yields for 101%, 44% and 43%, in 2005, 2006 and 2007, respectively. Ameliorative P fertilization significantly increased grain yields of maize for 32% (control = 7.90 t/ha), 14% (control = 7.27 t ha-1) and 26% (control = 7.34 t ha-1), for 2004, 2005 and 2006, respectively, while under drought stress of 2007 yields were low (control = 3.33 t ha-1), without residual effects of P fertilization.
