Sažetak
The main findings of air quality monitoring in the Rijeka Bay region during the past three decades are reported and assessed. Large changes in industrial and transport activities have taken place affecting the air quality in the region. The results are important in view of recent plans for expanding the Rijeka harbour, building a new railway, oil- and gas-pipelines and locate a large LNG terminal at the nearby island of Krk.
