Sažetak
The aim of the project was to assess the impact of deposition of acidifying compounds on freshwater ecosystems in selected areas in Croatia. Project results have shown that there are no exceedances of critical loads for acidity. Simple mass balance calculation of nitrogen shows that transboundary flux may cause classification to class II according the Croatian regulation, in extreme situation even class III (distribution and probability of class III needs further research).
