Sažetak
In this paper we consider the property of preponderant increase and decrease of data and the existence of the solution of a special nonlinear least squares problems. We find the necessary conditions on the data, which insure the existence of the optimal parameters for the exponential function in the sense of the least squares. It is also shown how to choose the initial approximation to ge optimal parameters with some of the known iterative methods.
