Sažetak
Analyses of productivity (milk yield and composition) and blood metabolites were made on 30 French alpine goats on the organic production during lactation period (the first measure on the 30(th) day and the second measure on the 70(th) day) during then winter feeding season. Goats were fed on cereals mixture and meadow hay. Average daily milk yield of goals was 2.51 and 2.39 l/day. The average blood glucose levels (3.17 and 3.35 mmol/l) and milk lactose levels (4.47 and 4.60%) it? the goats confirmed sufficient energy supply, but plasma urea level (2.76 and 3.27 mmol/l) and milk urea level (10.31 and 11.87 mg/dl) showed too low protein delivery. There were significant correlations (P<0.05) between milk urea and plasma urea (r = 0.48), between milk lactose and plasma lactose (r = 0.41), as well as between BCS with triglycerides and cholesterol (r = 0.38 and 0.44). Concentrations of Na, K and Cl and anion gap in the goat blood showed adequate mineral supply. The low concentrations of Ca and Fe cat? be connected with nutritional deficit and higher secretion by milk. Statistically a higher (P<0.05) concentration of Ca, Fe and cholesterol as well as a higher (P<0.01) concentration of total protein and ALP activity were determined on the 30(th) day when compared with the 70(th) day of lactation. Statistically higher urea and albumin concentrations occured in blood plasma and urea in milk on the 70(th) day of lactation. The obtained results showed lower contents of protein, Ca and Fe in the diet during the early lactation period. Productivity (milk yield and composition) and blood metabolites can be useful parameters for monitoring nutritive status of dairy goats in organic production.
