An electronic module for power supply network protection solved as an application-specific integrated circuit in the microelectronic thick film technology marks a qualitative advance in the field of electronic protection of power networks. It is structurally designed for general application as a module with central data processing and peripheral access to the input and output functions. The application of the protective electronic module ranges from power networks in specific industries (e.g. in mining) to electrical installation in dwelling houses
