Sažetak
In chromoplasts of many flower petals and of some fruits, the sites of formation of fibrillar/tubular structures were the membranes of the plastid envelope or of the peripheral reiculum. Investigation so far indicate, that both narrow fibrils and broad tubules in chromoplasts contain the same 32 kD protein. The differences in the dimension and mode of formation of these structures are likely the consequence of different carotenoid and/or lipid content.
