Sažetak
The lecture will present a vision of parenting in the best interests of the child which is informed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and contemporary research on parenting. This common understanding of positive parenting was developed through collaboration of multidisciplinary professionals from various European countries within Council of Europe. Implications for policy and practice of supporting positive parenting across different contexts will be addressed.
