Sažetak
Using Autodesk MapGuide Server and Author we integrated digital vector-based map of the Danube River Basin with DEFF relational database for TNMN data. MapGude Server is installed at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb, in the Croatian Nationl Reference Laboratory CMER (Center for Marine & Environmental Research) under the educational licence. Dynamic Web Pages are created on the server by using Autodesk MapGuide Author and could by dynamically accessed with Autodesk MapGuide Plug-In software which can be downloaded for free from corresponding Internet site. At present, due to the educational licence for Autodesk MapGuide Server and Author as well to the restrictions for dissemination of the TNMN data to the public under the provisions of the Danube Convention (DRPC) the results of the above mentioned experiments are not directly accessible through the Internet. These results will be a part of the PhD Thesis of mrs. Jadranka Pečar-Ilić, which is in preparation, and is planned to submitted for consideration to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. These results have been partially supported by UNDP/GEF Danube Pollution Reduction Programme within the special project for the Development of Danube Information System (DANUBIS, coordinated by the International Society for Environmental Protection, ISEP Vienna), and could be used within the Intranet of the International Commission of the Danube Convention. This presentation has a purpose to describe the state of the art of this research to potential users in the future if they acquire the appropiate licence for Autodesk MapGuide Server and Author software and obtain the permission to use the application from the authors.
