Sažetak
Both, the Institute of Isotopes (IoI) and the Ruder Boskovic Institute (IRB) were engaged in TL dosimetry in the 70's, practically parallel with laboratories, institutes from well developed countries. Bilateral cooperation between the Croatian and Hungarian Academy of Sciences (started in 1979) promoted solid state research in both countries in spite that the cooperation agreement had not foreseen any financial support from the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts while the Hungarian Academy of Sciences supported the cooperation. The consequences of the cooperation were the intensive exchange of information, the use of different experimental possibilities in the institutes. The cooperation resulted more than 25 scientific publications, more than 30 presentations at international congresses, conferences. The cooperation helped both institutes to become well-known in the international solid state dosimetry community.
