Sažetak
The design of an electropneumatic device for biomechanical research of tendons is presented in this paper. Device requirements are listed according to the expected elastic property of a tendon and the specific working conditions. The reasons for selecting pneumatic drive are explained and the device concept is laid out in form of pneumatic scheme. Component modelling using AutoCAD is presented, as well as the subsequent drawings for manufacturing of the specific component. Resulting device prototype is shown and the guidelines for further development are given. Finally, the importance and benefits of using CAD system in the design of a specific purpose device are discussed.
