Sažetak
The solution of supervisory control of a device for specific purpose in biomechanical research of soft tissues is presented in this paper. An outline of an electropneumatic device is laid out in order to explain the specific requirements for the data acquisition system according to working conditions, mobility, accuracy and speed. The concept of implementing sensors and computer control and measurement with electropneumatic device is given from the viewpoint of an automatic control theory. The characteristics of actuator and sensors are given and important relations are explained. Data acquisition system consisting of a portable hardware and a custom-made LabVIEW software support is presented. Finally, the advantages of the described system are given and the possible applications for different types of systems are explored.
