Sažetak
The clubs of treated alcoholics "Centar-Kustošija" and "Gornja Kustošija" celebrated the 25th anniversary of their foundation on November 27, 2006. The authors wanted to save from oblivion some events connected with organizing and work of these groups over the years.The aim was to present briefly the founding and development of those two clubs of treated alcoholics and their members in 25 years of their existence. The authors used the archives of the clubs of treated alcoholics, evidences by the members of the clubs of treated alcoholics, and "Kustošijanski godišnjak", the paper of the Society of Kustosians. The results were graphically presented. According to the results of the study the clubs of treated alcoholics in Kustošija were formed in 1981 from the club of treated alcoholics "Črnomerec". Twenty-five out of 57 memebers of the club of treated alcoholics "Centar-Kustošija" separated into the newly founded club "Matija Gubec" in 1985. During the Croatian War of Independence the members of the clubs were dropping out, and in 1992 the club "Matija Gubec" stopped working, the rest of its members joined again the club "Centar-Kustošija". The history of these clubs of treated alcoholics has proved, once again, the well known fact that without clubs of treated alcoholics there cannot be any successful abstinence. Cessation of coming to the meetings of a club of treated alcoholics is accompanied by relapse, which can be successfully prevented primarily through the clubs of treated alcoholics. In Kustošija clubs of treated alcoholics a family approach is encouraged. Good work of these clubs can be seen also through the fact that most of the members return to their clubs after relapses.
