Sažetak
The author gives his opinions about the causes of social inequalities, poverty, unemployment and inflation as products of social relations and the production system. The author is also very critical about the analyses of the causes of inflation which disregard the defects of the ruling system of economic relations. It is precisely this system, whose characteristic is production based on the profiteer principle, that numerous analysts treat as the driving force of development and not as a cause of the increasingly pronounced social differences. The author gives numerous examples from history but also from the recent past, finding arguments to prove that, according to him, the model of building a socialist society was perverse, claiming that it was an Asian model which in fact represented a blow to any thought of a possible social improvement. In the end, the author reviews the current state of Croatia, pointing to one of the basic problems of Croatian economy, the evident and hidden unemployment, accompanied by idleness. In order to solve this problem it is necessary to find organizing models, and the author sees one in the process of self-organizing of the workers who take on their rights and responsibilities.
