Sažetak
There has been nothing in the history of education that had such an impact as the impact that computers had on education. Initially, education and training for computer use was performed only by companies that were selling or supplying hardware and software. In 1978, first microprocessors seminar was organized in Rijeka and Buje. This was the beginning of MIPRO (www.mipro.hr), one of the biggest international ICT meetings in this part of the world. From the first beginning of MIPRO, education was considered, but it is only from 1997 that a separate conference Computers in Education was established. MIPRO today has grown, and has earned international recognition.
