Sažetak
The study was performed with the aim of defining homogenized groups of volleyball players (N = 147, all females ; aged 14-15 years) characterized by equal technical efficacy (TE). The TE was determined by six 6 variables - basic volleyball technical-tactical elements evaluated on the 1-5 scale. Using the cluster analysis calculated on the TE variables, four groups of the players were found. Additionally, discriminant analysis defined differences between groups, and two significant discriminant functions were found. The interpretation of the discriminant function structure allowed us to precisely select playing positions in the sample of the youth players.
